Catered by Hofbrauhaus Cleveland, the German Day Cleveland celebrates all of the area German - American organizations and features different styles of music and dance from the various regions of Germany. Come enjoy this family-friendly day with us!

Oktoberfest actually began as a royal wedding in Munich, Germany on October 12, 1810. In the years following the wedding, all the appreciative Bavarians in and around Munich held anniversary celebrations until, about ten years later, the celebrations turned into annual Oktoberfests.

Join us for an afternoon of German and Austrian folk songs, music, and comedy! We’ll have traditional Hausmusik, comedy sketches, and performances by the S.T.V. Join us for our annual Bierfest, a night full of music, entertainment and great food!
Dinner includes Schnitzel, red cabbage, spätzle and gravy, and dessert. Note: We do not offer a children’s menu. We offer smaller portions of our meal for guests 12 and under.

Bierfest 2022
Join us for our annual Bierfest! We are offering various ticket options:
1) In-person: This ticket included dinner and performances by S.T.V. Bavaria singers and dancers! Dinner includes Schnitzel, Wurst, Red Cabbage and Spätzle. $30 adults, $17 for 12 and under. (Children’s dinner is the same menu, in smaller portions). Note: We are limiting the capacity of our in-person ticket to 250 people.
2) Livestream and dinner: This ticket includes dinner (Schnitzel, Wurst, Red Cabbage and Spätzle) and a live-stream viewing of the live event and viewing of the band after the performance. Dinners will need to be picked up from the Donauschwaben's German-American Cultural Center between 5:30PM and 7:00PM. Ticket holders for this event will be emailed a link and password to view the broadcast. $25 per person (no children option)
3) Livestream only: This ticket includes the live-stream viewing of the live event. Ticket holders for this event will be emailed a link and password to view the broadcast. The live stream will include viewing of the band after the performance. $15 per person.

German-American Day (German: Deutsch-Amerikanischer Tag) is a holiday in the United States, observed annually on October 6. The holiday, which celebrates German American heritage, commemorates the date in 1683 when 13 German families from Krefeld, near the Rhine, landed in Philadelphia.
This year, German Day Cleveland will be celebrated on October 4 from 1:00 to 6:00 at the German Central at 7863 York Rd in Parma, OH. Stay tuned for regular updates regarding schedule of performers and other details!
German Day Cleveland is the local celebration of German heritage. Our goal is to celebrate our shared heritage with local German-American cultural organizations and clubs that preserve our heritage, celebrate our culture, and share our music, song, and dance.
At the German Day Cleveland event, German cultural groups of the greater Cleveland area will be performing throughout the day. We will have the oompah bands, singing groups, and traditional dancers.
Don't forget to wear your Lederhosen and Dirndl - just not at the same time.
